Campaign Story
Hi, I’m Sara, and this is my husband, Henry. We’ve been together for 14 years, married for almost 10, and from the very beginning, we dreamed of building a family together. We still hold onto that dream, even though the path to get there has been harder and more heartbreaking than we ever imagined. For nine long years, we’ve carried the quiet weight of infertility. This past July, we finally received an answer—I was diagnosed with severe endometriosis, a condition that has caused significant and irreversible damage. While the diagnosis brought clarity, it also brought a difficult truth: IVF is now our safest and most hopeful option to have a baby without putting my health or a future child’s at risk. But hope comes with a steep price. Like so many couples, our insurance doesn’t cover fertility treatments—not the consultations, the tests, or the medications. Everything comes out of pocket, and the cost of just one round of IVF averages $30,000. On top of that, we’re facing the reality that even at leading clinics, success rates are under 60%, which means we may need more than one round. It’s a financial and emotional mountain to climb, but we’re determined to take it one step at a time. That’s why we’ve decided to start this fundraiser. We’re humbly asking for your support to help cover the overwhelming costs of IVF. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to the family we’ve always hoped for. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of our journey. Your kindness gives us strength, and your belief in us fuels our hope. We can’t wait for the day we can share our joy with you.
